A Content Writer uses a mix of creative and technical skills to perform their job. They must be a creative thinker to conceptualize content, and then have the organizational mind to create a pragmatic plan of action. Also, basic knowledge of working on Canva & Hootsuite to create and manage social media channels will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills

  1. Software industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
  2. Write a clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
  3. Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems, write blogs for website
  4. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
  5. Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
  6. Promote content & posts on social media
  7. Identify customers needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  8. Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
  9. Update website content as needed
  10. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, and Word
  11. Familiarity with popular keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc) is a plus
  12. Basic knowledge of working on Canva & Hootsuite (Social media management platform) to create and manage social media channels will be an added advantage

Education – Any Bachelor degree or Journalism or equivalent 

Experience – 2-4 years
