Role: Field Sales Executive

AMITY is in business of developing, implementing, and supporting “Business Software and many weighing solutions” for sugar factories. More than 50% of sugar factories in north India are our customers.

In order to better support our sugar industry customers, we require “Field Sales Executives” located in various districts of U.P. and Bihar. The details of this position are as following:

  • They will be paid monthly on “Base Salary + Sales Commission” basis.
  • They will receive initial one week (or more as required) training in our head office at Noida.
  • After the training is over, they will be stationed at their home town itself and work remotely for the company.
  • As part of their duty, they will be required to travel extensively to nearby sugar factories in their area on a daily basis. All travel costs will be paid by the company as per actuals.
  • Company would also provide them with a Laptop Computer so as to communicate on daily basis with customers and head office.
  • A deposit of Rs. 25,000 will have to be deposited by them – either as a Bank Guarantee or an FDR hypothecated to company. This security will be returned as & when the employment ends and assets issued to employee are returned.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate in any discipline. MCA / B.Tech. preferred.
  • Must understand information technology buzzwords – Hardware, Software, Business Software, ERP etc.
  • Good Knowledge of Computer Operations – Emails, MS-Word, Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
  • People with any prior experience in Sales will be preferred.
  • Pleasing personality, soft-spoken, well-mannered.
  • Aptitude of developing rapport with strangers.
  • Fluent oral communicator in Hindi or English
  • Capable of drafting emails and messages in English.
  • Open to travel in nearby rural areas on daily basis.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with our existing customers.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Generate Sales Leads by interacting with them and convert them to sales orders.
  • Keep the customer very happy with our company. Intimate Head office about any issues customer might be facing and requires help/support from the company.
  • Meet assigned sales targets.  
  • Travel throughout the territory and visit customers on a recurring basis.
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts and forward the same to the head office on daily basis.
  • Monitor the company’s competitors, their activities, new products launched by them, and other significant developments.
